Famille plus label

The 'Famille Plus' accreditation is a national accreditation for the standard of hospitality shown to families and children in tourist areas. Its objectives are simple - it aims to meet their expectations as effectively as possible by improving the facilities and services in the area. Furthermore, it also should facilitate the identification of offers reserved for families via the internet and different publications.

To obtain this accreditation, tourist areas should fulfil the requirements grouped around 7 main topics. Hospitality and information, entertainment, activities, exploration and awareness of the environment and heritage, accommodation, planning, transport and security, and lastly - prices suitable for families and/or children.

Created in 2006, the accreditation has recognised the services available in Le Havre since 2008. And, since 2014, the 'Agglomération Havraise (CODAH)' (the Le Havre Metropolitan Area) had the honour of becoming the first accredited intercommunal group in France.

The Tourist Office is responsible for identifying quality services and for getting them involved in the process by making them aware of the expectations of families in terms of hospitality, services and prices. It also has the task of developing entertainment.
