Othon Friesz exhibition



Very important 2007 exhibition, declared to be of national interest by the Ministry of Culture. About 170 prestigious pieces are going to be brought together, all of which borrowed from large private, public, French and international collections and all rigorously selected. All these pieces will go back over Friesz's artistic career, mentioning his friendships (Braque, Dufy...) and the diversity of his production (painting, drawqing, engraving, pottery, decorating...).

The Christmas animated exhibition is a very special event at the end of the year in the City of Le Havre. For ten years, the animated windows at City Hall’s archways and forum have brought joy to children as well as adults. Every year the story changes, thus, bear cubs, mice, hedgehogs, elves have been in turn, the heros of this regional event.

Jacques Vabre Race : 8th edition Back to the race !


The Jacques Vabre Race 8th edition exploding all records ! With a 1000sq.m village, over 260000 visitors came to the event to see the warm up and the departure of the 62 monohulls and multihulls. Records on the air with more than 88 radio programme, 32 television broadcast and 87 articles in the national press.

The Cruise season has ended with Jewel of the Seas on October 31st. Over 78000 passengers and 35000 crew members have called at the Florida pier during 50 calls. Using shuttles, 28000 passengers have discovered Le Havre ( 36% of the passengers ).

Le Havre : China Europa 2007


An exemplary partnership for the promotion of tourism of groups in Le Havre. Opportunity was exceptionnally given this year, in exceptional circumstances, to mix the itinerant workshop “Sites and Monuments of Normandy” organized every year by the CRT of Normandy, with the workshop “Call in the Bay of the Seine” organized in Le Havre by the Tourist office. Nearly a hundred guests were present, tour operators and agents of French, English and German voyages, persons in charge of work coucils

Le Havre welcomes you at Seatrade-Europe Hamburg: more than 3200 visitors came to the most important European cruise exhibition. The Tourist Office has met ocean & river cruise companies' decision makers and has attended conferences on following topics :
